CD Project

For our second project in English 101 we had to do a project which had us create either a DVD or CD. I chose to make a CD. For the CD project We had to create a front and back cover for our CD as well as song titles. It was pretty easy to come up with songs being exposed to thousands throughout my life. I looked for inspiration on the titles from songs I know and tweaked them to fit what I though they should be or took parts of a chorus and added them to a title. For the album covers I used Picnik to edit pictures I wanted to use. I added text for the the album title on the cover page and on the back cover I added the song names. To finish up the project we needed to write about it either via an about the author section we wrote or describing what each song was about. I thought it was easier to write about what each song was suppose to tell the listener

Narrative

For my project I was thinking about either my first year of highschool or about going through my parents' divorce. I was only 5 when the divorce happened so I don't think I will be able to remember events as well as my first year of highschool. My parents also did a good job hiding alot of it from me until it was pretty much over. My first year of highschool was also a mostly positive experience so I'd probably rather talk about that. I made a lot of new friends and one of my first new friends became my best friend right now. I was thinking to make it a movie maker project, I have used that program before and have found it somewhat easy to use, and feel like it would be much better than just using a boring old powerpoint.
